Post Election Efforts to Continue the Visibility of Rural Telecom Issues
November 8, 2006, Washington, D.C. - The coalition published an ad in Communications Daily, a publication that is widely-read by policy makers in Washington, DC, to continue to highlight the need for support of universal service when the new Congress convenes in January. Additionally, the coalition issued a press release urging policy makers to prepare for debate on telecom issues and support the principles of universal service that provide connectivity for both rural and urban consumers.
